Brotte Creation Grosset Cairanne 2020

Since 1931, five generations of the BROTTE family have been dedicated to the careful crafting of refined, elegantly fruity and spicy wines with a remarkably smooth character. Domaine Grosset belonged to Alain Grosset, Laurent Brotte’s father-in-law. The Grosset family has always been very active in the village of Cairanne’s community and cultural life and has greatly contributed to the development of the AOC. Elegant and fine aromas. In its early youth, the nose is fresh with complex aromas of red berries and spicy notes. After four to five years of cellar-ageing, candied cherry, warm spices and undergrowth aromas dominate the first nose which then goes on to develop light red pepper and prune notes. When young, the wine is fresh and soft with notes of redcurrants and green olives. With age, the palate softens and acquires great length with roasted aromas of strawberry jam, wild blueberries, truffles and liquorice.
