Matyas Osztover 2020

For a long time, we had the determination and planning to make the wine that would be worthy of the ancient name of our village (Kisújfalu entered written history under the name Ösztövér in the 13th century). The final result came together quite spontaneously. There was the chardonnay made in a sandwich style, the tramini fermented on the skin, and the king's maiden and sauvignon blanc soaked in the skin for days. They had so much energy, so much power that they had to be married to become a really powerful team. And thus Ösztövér was completed. It contains all the energy of terroir, the scorching summer sun, which often turns our land into a mule, on which the capitals then create their masterpiece with hard work and complete dedication. Ösztövér's fire really lies in this wine. Forget all fixations about wines, varietal characteristics, and clichés, and surrender yourself to the pleasure, let it transfer its positive energies!
