Tarlant Cuvee Louis Brut Nature Champagne

Cuvee Louis is named for Benoît’s and Melanie’s great-great-great grandfather Louis, who was the first to bottle the family’s estate wines. Though the wine is in fact a cuvee of Chardonnay (50%) and Pinot Noir (50%), it is not a blend of sites. The fruit comes from a single parcel called Les Crayons with a soil composition that is primarily of chalk on vines planted from 1946 to 1948 by Louis, georges, Germaine and George Tarlant.
