We started with a straight rye whiskey distilled from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley then finished it in toasted White Oak casks hand crafted by the skilled coopers at Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, KY. The hints of vanilla, caramel, and apple that the rye whiskey pulls out of the toasted white oak staves provide the perfect finish on the whiskey to complement any cigar and any occasion.
