Dartigalongue Bas Armagnac 1979

Dark mahogany bronze colour. Initial surprising freshness on the nose with exotic fruits, passionfruit and plum, figs and honey. With a complexing nod to its age, reminiscent of libraries. The oaky structure is still very evident but is not intrusive, and just supports the extremely complex flavours and nuances. Fantastic finish.
