Newport is a small town located just across the river from downtown Cincinnati, founded in 1795. During prohibition Newport became an underground haven for bootleggers and gangsters alike. Millions of dollars were spent each year in the casinos, brothels and speakeasies on Monmouth Street. The socialites that frequented these establishments had exquisite taste and demanded only the finest spirits. Newport Kentucky was coined "Sin City" long before the mob moved to Las Vegas. Our first still is located in a historic building on Monmouth Street where a rich history mixes with a bright future. The tradition of fine spirits continues today with our modern recipes that are sure to put in a PENSIVE mood.
