Farmer's Gin suggests a purist, field-driven approach, and it bears this out in the nose of forward lemongrass and lime peel. Juniper is surely a minor field hand on this team, coming out nicely in the finish. Overall, this is a well-done, postmodern "New Western" gin, maybe not the best for Dad's 1959-style martini, but an excellent choice for G&Ts, Aviations and other cocktails. -Jay Erisman
