At Springbank we pride ourselves on producing a single malt that is made entirely in-house, employing traditional skills that have been passed down from one generation to the next. Produced since 1828, Springbank Single Malts are lightly peated in our kiln and distilled 2.5 times. The aromas are intense with cherry menthol, rich blood orange, milk chocolate, stewed fruits and apple crumble. The palate has notes of must, earthy and oil with subtle notes of peat smoke. From the sherry casks, there's demerara sugar, strawberry confectionery, licorice and walnuts. The finish is well balanced with a slight herbaceous note of tarragon and savor deli meats. Springbank 30 year is aged in 80% Bourbon and 20% Sherry casks.
