J.T.S. Brown has distilled Kentucky's Finest Bourbon for more than 100 years under a traditional time-honored method handed down by three generations. Named after John Thompson Street Brown Sr. the whiskey was first produced in 1855.It is noted for its milder flavor, smoothness, and delicate aroma. Fully matured for 4 years and bottled at 100 proof, this Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon is made to the exacting standards of the US government.
To be labeled a BIB, the whiskey must be the product of one distillation season and one distiller at a single distillery, aged in a federally bonded warehouse under U.S. government supervision for at least four years, and it must be bottled at exactly 100 proof. Additionally, the BiB label must clearly identify the distillery where it was distilled and where it was bottled, if different.
