Naturally fermeted, as all wines from Ermitage are, this blend of Rhône varietals is the perfect companion to anything grilled. When the Ravaille brothers barbecue, it’s serious business. Good thing they make such wild wines to go along with their famous grillades! “Tour de Pierres” is a tour de force! Purple and purplish-blue in color. The nose is spicy (white pepper) and mentholated, with cocoa and red fruit notes. The mouth feel is full and balanced, and pepper and liquorice notes are evident. The tannins are still tight, with a length that promises well for the future.
