This plot "les Saumonts" is located on a hillside at the foot of a cliff. Indeed, it owes its name to this particularity because "saumonts" means "under the mount" or "under the mountain", hence its name. Our plot all in Pinot noir was planted in 2016, it is 2.01 hectares and faces due south. The vine rests on a clay-limestone and stony soil made of debris from the disintegrated rock coming from the cliff.
