In 2000, John Glaser, an American living in the UK and working for a large distiller, saw an opportunity to break away from the traditional Scotch whisky model. He envisioned a new way to bring the joys of Scotch to more people, blending innovation with quality.

Inspired by the long-lost tradition of Scotch blending houses, Glaser founded Compass Box, combining a respect for heritage with a forward-thinking approach. Today, under the guidance of Lead Whiskymaker James Saxon, Compass Box continues to craft distinctive blends from carefully selected whisky stocks, bridging the legacy of the past with the future of Scotch whisky.
