This vintage is made from a blend of Nerello Mascalese 90% and Nerello Cappuccio 10%. A beautiful blend of varietals from the Etna Rosso DOC that include vineyards San Lorenzo, Feudo, Calderara Sottana and Feudo di Mezzo that creates a rich, ruby red wine. The aromas are elegant, with good complexity, hints of cherry and plum, notes of leather and tobacco. The flavors are fresh and complex, with soft, velvety tannins, good structure and pleasant drinkability; silky, lingering finish.
