Dr Burklin Wolf Wachenheimer Riesling Auslese 2020

The growing year was an almost Mediterranean year. The fairly mild winter was followed a humid January and February that turned into a very warm March. With plenty of rain, sprouting began in the second half of March. Creating a foundation for a great harvest. After the end of flowering and at the beginning of berry growth, however, a great drought set in, which persisted throughout the growing period. The very warm summer brought the first grapes to ripen at the end of August. The main harvest began at the beginning of September and was already on September 22nd. Completed September, earlier than ever. The wines appear full-bodied, very well structured and accessible. We expect due to the optimal ripeness of the grapes with very storable wines.
