Bloody Kentucky Cocktail Drink Mix had its start as a farm-fresh recipe just before the days of prohibition. Bourbon and Moonshine were about the only type of liquor that people had (or wanted) in these parts, so obviously they adapted any potential mixer to blend with what they were drinking. Being from the country, they used vegetables form their garden, beef-bullion stock, as-well-as other secret ingredients to produce a hearty flavor that we call Bloody Kentucky. That recipe remains largely unchanged from then; - and now is bottled for all to enjoy.
